Inspec is the leading English-language bibliographic database which
may be used for scientific and engineering research information, current
awareness, new product information, technological forecasting, competitive
intelligence, patent-related searching and data-mining.
Subject coverage
Inspec provides a comprehensive index of literature to five main subjects:
physics, electrical engineering and electronics, computers and control,
information technology for business, and mechanical and production
engineering. It also covers a wide range of topics including oceanography,

Access to nearly 10 million records
Over 3850 scientific and technical journals (1600 are indexed cover-to-cover)
